On November 21, 2014, I received a HITEC 100 award and participated in the leadership summit in Silicon Valley. Never before have we seen as fast a transformation in the technology field as we are seeing now. Every business is now a technology business. The new normal is that the business world is a digital world, blending the physical world with the online world. Technology is transforming the business. Becoming a knowledge company requires a new style of IT.  Five major technology drivers are powering and shaping this transformation: cloud, big data, mobility, the Internet of things, and security. We need innovation, we need new technology leadership, we need a mind shift.
